TO PROVIDE A WRITTEN PUBLIC COMMENT:
To provide a written comment, submit an email to [email protected] no later than 4:00PM on April 18th. Comments submitted prior to 4:00PM will be forwarded to the Planning Commission and posted on the City’s website as part of the official meeting record. Any comments submitted after 4:00PM on the day of the meeting will be read aloud during the meeting.

- Arrive at the Council Chambers (625 N San Vicente Blvd.) 20 minutes prior to the Planning Commission meeting start, which will begin at 6:30PM. We recommend rideshare, public transit, walking, or arriving early to avoid any parking challenges. If you arrive late, you may forfeit your ability to speak at the meeting!
- Please sign up now to speak via the official Planning Commission Speaker Request Form: Click here to sign up (Please sign up in advance of the meeting via this link. There will also be a QR code in Council Chambers to scan for any last-minute public comment sign ups.)
- Provide the Meeting Date: 4/18/2024
- Provide your Full Name.
- Provide your City of Residence (West Hollywood) Select “Public Speaker in Person”
- Select “Item 10.C. - 8850 Sunset Boulevard Mixed-Use Project”
- Select “Oppose staff's recommendation”
- Provide your email address to stay updated by the City on the project.
- Once you arrive, please kindly confirm with staff that you will be called up to speak on 10C, regarding the 8850 Sunset Blvd Mega-Project.
- Once the Commission considers Item 10C, there will likely be presentations by staff & applicant (representatives for the 8850 Sunset Blvd Mega-Project) prior to public testimony.
- Public testimony begins, wait for your name to be called. Approach the podium when called.
- Afterwards, return to your seat. Thank you for expressing your concerns and fighting for our community!

The proposed demolition and replacement of the Viper Room with a 161-foot, exclusive 5-star hotel, with a rooftop bar and pools, reduced parking, ballroom and event space, 5 new restaurants, spa, helicopter landing pad, and luxury apartments located at 8850 Sunset Boulevard is a DISASTER!
